Marc Anthony will pay $10,000 a month over the next three years to his ex-wife Shannon de Lima as part of their divorce settlement, reported El Gordo y La Flaca (Univision) on Tuesday.
Judge Sarah Zabel signed off the divorce for the singer and the Venezuelan model last Monday at a Miami court, where neither Shannon nor Marc showed up in person. However, the salsero had a very brief telephone call with the judge.
With this divorce, the couple put an end to a marriage that had begun with a spectacular wedding in 2014 at Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, which also included a performance from Juan Luis Guerra for the former couples first dance.
The marriage was terminated in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Anthony and De Lima signed a confidential agreement on Dec. 16 in which the singer agreed to sign over two luxurious apartments located in an exclusive area of the city of Miami to the model.
If the model shall re-marry before the end of the three years, Anthony will not have to pay any money to De Lima.
